BioI am a Genetics/Cell Biology major at the University of Minnesota. I tried to be an Arts major for a while, but stopped when I found out that I didn't have the stamina to listen about the angst that'd gone into a painting of seven fallaces, coffee grounds, and varnish. It may just have been bad luck that I ended up in an art class like that, but that semester knocked my artistic enthusiasm right out of me, and not wanting to risk it for good, I decided that learning such things as flourescent-in-situ-hybridization and the many molecular wonders of the Golgi would be more enjoyable. Doing art on my own, though, is still really fun, so I do it when I get the chance.
